Uranus 

Uranus -- The Archetype of "The Rebel/Prometheus or The Individualist", ruler of the sign Aquarius. Uranus represents that character within us who has learned to walk gracefully through life's garden of random chaos...or not! If one is living life as it is meant to be lived, fully and in the moment, even the most well-grounded individual must sometimes, occasionally be thrown by the proverbial loop. Life is simply full of little unexpected twists and turns which require that we be able to navigate adeptly in uncharted waters. Uranus represents our capacity to do just that. Not only must we be able to respond to the flux and flow of unexpected cosmic tides, we must also be willing to churn up those waters, or defy the status quo, when change is needed in our lives. Uranus represents our capacity to experience and create change in the circumstances of our lives which no longer serve us on our path toward individualism and self-actualization. For some, this character and the process it represents is downright terrifying. They dig their heels in so deeply that they must eventually be dragged into a new reality. For others, this character can be over developed to the point of abuse, where change for the sake of change leaves many a wounded soul in their wake. As with all of the outer planets, this character Uranus requires personal awareness and conscious respect for healthy integration within the individual psyche.
